SKOLARS’ three-match winning streak has come to an end.

Swinton Lions, Saturday’s visitors to New River Stadium, started all over the home side to snatch a 30-8 halftime lead.

That was always going to take a gargantuan task to reel in but London made a fist of it after halftime before succumbing to a 22-48 result.

The game marked the return to Skolars’ colours of veteran playmaker Neil Thorman. Next weekend we face North Wales in Colwyn Bay.
