Volunteer Rugby Coaches – Minis & Juniors (March 2023 start)
London Skolars Junior Rugby League Club are looking for energetic and dynamic coaches to lead our Junior squads. Training takes place on a Saturday morning (9:30-11:00). The season runs from March through to August.
London Skolars are proud of their player pathway and have a strong history of developing players, who go on to compete in the semi-professional First-Team. An in-depth knowledge of basic rugby skills (either code) is essential for these roles, as are the following characteristics:
– A Positive work ethic
– Punctuality
– Organisational skills
– Strong communication skills
– Patience
Possession of an in-date First-Aid certificate would be well received.
There is potential for additional shifts outside of the advertised times; the club organises ‘Tag’ Rugby sessions in a number of schools located in Haringey, Barnet and Enfield and open-age training on a Wednesday evening.
This role would be ideal for any Rugby Coaches who would like to work with talented players during the summer season or perhaps those who have played the sport and would like to inspire a new generation of players. The club is also prepared to assist willing candidates with CPD and expanding their coaching qualifications.
