The club are delighted to announce the re-signing of front row forward Mike Greenhalgh on a deal until the end of the 2022 season!
Greenhalgh, a Philippine Tamaraws international, spent the beginning of the 2022 season at London Broncos, making his Championship debut against Widnes Vikings in January. As with recent Skolars signing Lameck Juma, Greenhalgh has played for London Skolars for a number of years; he came through the Skolars’ junior system all the way to becoming a consistent first grade player.
Greenhalgh said: “I am looking forward to getting back into some regular rugby. I know the Skolars boys well and have worked with Joe Mbu for a number of years before and know what he expects of his players.”
Head Coach Joe Mbu was pleased to confirm his third signing in as many weeks, saying:”Mike is a great addition to the squad. I have known him since he was young and he will provide toughness and competition in the middle forwards group. We look forward to seeing him back in a Skolars shirt!”
Greenhalgh goes straight into contention for selection for this weeks trip to Cornwall RLFC.
