DONCASTER scored five tries in 14 minutes early in the second half to kill off a determined London Skolars challenge at New River.
With a bit of luck the home side could have been level-pegging or even ahead at halftime, when Doncaster led 14-12.
But Richard Horne’s men took control between the 49th and 63rd minutes, with Sam Smeaton completing his hat-trick during the blitz.
Skolars then got their defensive house back in order and did not concede another point.
A full match report by Andrew Jackson will appear on this site in the coming days. Our next home game is against Oldham for Friday Night Lights. Tickets are available HERE
