Lamont Bryan has signed a one year contract extension with the club. The Centre / Second Row has featured for the club across ten different seasons and has also played for the Gloucestershire All Golds, Featherstone Rovers and London Broncos. Lamont is proud to have represented Jamaica and played a key role in their qualification for this year’s rescheduled World Cup in England.
Head Coach, Joe Mbu, identified Lamont as a key signing soon after his return to the club. He said this, after the deal had been confirmed “Lamont will be a senior player in this seasons squad and brings lots of experience to the group. He has been great in pre-season and is showing a real desire to help some of the club’s younger players progress and improve their games. It is great to be working with him again”.
Bryan has also expressed his delight in continuing his career with Skolars. He said “it is great to sign. I am looking forward to playing under someone I really admire. I think the squad has a good mix of youth and experience and I can’t wait for the new season to start”

Fans will hopefully see Lamont in action in Round 2 of the Challenge Cup, which is due to take place at New River on the weekend of January 29th / 30th. Tickets will go on sale this weekend.
