Regrettably, the club have made the decision (alongside HANetf, the London Broncos & the HAC) to postpone the Capital Challenge. The event was due to take place on Friday 14th January 2022. With the rising Covid-19 case numbers having an increasingly detrimental effect on the wide variety of stakeholders involved, all parties felt that a postponement is the most sensible course of action, to protect players, staff members and supporters. Ultimately, we feel this postponement will result in a safer and more successful event.
However, the club are pleased to announce the new scheduled date – Friday 18th March 2022. The school’s tournament, luncheon and fixture will still take place at the HAC with the same timing schedule in place. Due to an intense run of fixtures, it will not be possible for the club to play the London Broncos. However, the club are currently considering other options and will make an additional announcement in the coming days.
All those who have purchased tickets to the London derby will automatically have their entry transferred to the new fixture on March 18th. Should anyone not be able to make the re-scheduled event, please contact the club at info@skolararsrl.com . We will be happy to discuss potential refunds or the possibility of using your ticket at a Challenge Cup or League 1 fixture.
The club would like to place on record our sincere thanks to the London Broncos and the HAC for their help throughout the planning process and their support since this choice was reached. We hope all our followers understand the reasoning behind this difficult decision. Every effort will be made to make the next edition of the ‘Capital Challenge’ the best one yet!
Ticket sales are currently paused but will resume once the new opposition are confirmed.
