The club are pleased to announce the signing of former Oxford and Hemel Stags player Liam O’Callaghan. He joins the club on a one-year deal. Liam can play as a Loose Forward, Dummy Half or Half-back.
After a short stint on trial, Head Coach Joe Mbu decided that Liam possesses the skills and work ethic to be a key part of the first-team squad this coming season. After signing his contract, Liam said the following:
“I am delighted to have signed for London Skolars. It has been a few years since I have been in the mix at this level but I am confident that I can make a positive impact this season. Hopefully I can impress throughout pre-season and get plenty of minutes under my belt”
Liam will be sponsored by M. Donovan PHG throughout the Betfred League 1 season. The club thanks Matt Donovan for his support and looks forward to welcoming him to New River!
