The club is pleased to confirm the re-signing of both Leighton Ball (left) and Jerome Yates (right). We are also delighted to say that the club have extended their partnership with The Mall (Wood Green). The Mall were eager to continue to support the development of both of these players, particularly as they have a long association with the club and the wider area.

Player sponsorship goes a long way to assisting players in the semi-professional environment that we operate. Leighton has been in and around the first-team set-up for a while and has come through our Junior ranks. He is working very hard to get more playing time this season. We are looking for Jerome to continue his progression and take on a more senior role within Joe’s squad”

Both players spoke shortly after signing their contracts. Ball: “I am looking forward to working with Joe Mbu who has had years of playing and coaching experience at a high level. I am excited to continue to learn and develop as a player. I will be putting in 100% effort and believe if we work hard and maintain a positive mindset, we will be destined for a successful League season”

Jerome supported Leighton’s comments by saying “I am really excited to be working with Joe again. With the World Cup on the horizon, this is going to be a big year for me. I think Joe can help me take my game to the next level. I can’t wait!”
