The club are delighted to announce the signing of half back Alex Deery. The 19 year old is an exciting prospect who can also operate at full back. Deery has recently graduated from the London Broncos Academy and is extremely well known to the club, having competed in our Junior ranks.

The 19-year old commented after signing his one year contract: “I am really excited for my next Rugby League chapter with London Skolars. As a young player, I am looking forward to challenging myself in League 1 and hope to gain lots of knowledge that will aid my development as a Rugby League player”

London Skolars General Manager also commented on the deal “Everyone at the club is pleased that Alex has decided to join us for the season ahead. We are looking to build a squad that will give playing opportunities to young, talented players and he certainly fits that brief”

It is likely that Deery will feature in our ‘Capital Challenge’ fixture against the Broncos on Friday 14th January. Remember to purchase your tickets, if you have not done so already
