The season opening 9s tournament took place at Elmbridge Eagles RLFC on Saturday 7th March. Coaches Kev Flanagan and Costa Charalambous took a squad of 10 players who did the club proud.
The U14s competed in four games (each lasting 10 minutes) and showed dedication and skill. In the group stages the results were as follows:
Brentwood 3 vs 1 Skolars
Invictus 4 vs 3 Skolars
Elmbridge 3 vs 2 Skolars
The squad progressed through to the plate semi-final and narrowly lost out to North Herts. Tommy (Hooker) and Josiah (Centre / Wing) did extremely well on their debuts for the club and integrated well with the returning players who have moved up from last years U13s.
