London Skolars are pleased to announce the signing of Costa Charalambous on a one-year deal. The 27-year-old joins the club ahead of what promises to be an exciting 2020 Betfred League 1 season.
Jermaine Coleman, London Skolars’ Head Coach, commented:
“Costa is making his way back from a serious injury he had the other year but he has started pre-season really well, he has been pushing himself really hard. I think he is going to have a good impact on the team. He is an honest bloke and a hard worker, which is something every team wants”
The Australian-born has spent the last few seasons playing Ipswich rugby league as well as representing Greece in a test match and representing the Mediterranean Middle East in the 2018 emerging nations World Cup.
Excited to have just moved to London after signing for the Skolars, Costa said: “ I am really excited to have signed with London Skolars, I look forward to discovering London, getting stuck in and working with Jermaine, the staff and the boys to have a big year in 2020 and to help the team in any ways I can to have a successful season”
