London Rugby League club looks to build commercial partnerships with UK investors with a view to raising capital to compete in future trans national leagues.

Based in the London Borough of Haringey and with potential to build or acquire a modern stadium or large multi-sport centre, London Skolars, a long established professional rugby league club, is looking for a new investor(s) to take over from existing shareholders wishing to reduce their involvement.

Chairman Terry Browne today expressed his desire to develop commercial partnerships with interested parties in order to build a successful London based team competing within a trans national league.

Currently having completed their eighteenth professional season, the potential to develop into a leading team creates an exciting challenge to a UK or international investor looking to acquire a sporting club and to facilitate the acquisition of their own playing facility.

As the game expands in North America with potentially two or three major cities joining French members of the elite European and English leagues, the scope for transnational competitions and TV revenues does he believes make involvement in an ambitious London team, compelling.
