Jerome Yates has committed to London Skolars for the 2020 season by re-signing his contract with the club. The 22-year-old, who can play either on the wing or at full back, will join his teammates for training once preseason begins.

Jermaine Coleman, London Skolars’ Head Coach, commented:

“I am really happy Jerome has re-signed. Towards the end of last season Jerome showed some good form. It has been a long track for Jerome, working throughout our junior system until coming up to the first team. It finally seems to have hit home that he needs to be professional and take this really seriously. He went from strength to strength last year so I am hoping with another good preseason under his belt and coming with the same attitude, that this season is going to be a real breakthrough season for him.”

Jerome has progressed through the club’s talent pathway to make the senior squad. He commented:

“I am delighted to sign another year for London Skolars. Last season was an important year for me and I feel like the club are going in the right direction. I am excited to be part of what is ahead and I am looking forward to getting back with all the boys for preseason, I literally can’t wait!”
