It turned out to be another disappointing afternoon at the New River Stadium. After an extremely bright start, which saw the Skolars race into a 10-0 lead, the Bears fought back bravely and dominated proceedings throughout the course of the second period.

Once Coventry took the lead, they managed the game superbly and did not give the home side an opportunity to wrestle back control of proceedings.
