Skolars eased to a comfortable victory but did not have things all their own way in the early exchanges. The West Wales Raiders took an early 0-6 lead with a try from Bateman and a conversion from Cowburn.
However, the Skolars side soon found their rhythm and tries from Greenhalgh, Williams and Mullen saw the home side reach the break with a 12 point lead (18-6).
Looking much more relaxed after a long mid-season break, Skolars dominated the second half. Further tries from Jennings, Coleman, Scott, Juma & two from Williams (completing a superb hat-trick) resulted in a 51-6 victory.
Skolars jump to second in the Betfred League 1 table and will relish next week’s trip to Keighley.
