The London Series proved to be a howling success for both home sides on Saturday afternoon; the Skolars completed a remarkable comeback victory in their match against Workington Town and the Toronto Wolfpack eased to a comprehensive victory against the high-flying Sheffield Eagles (40-10).

The Skolars saw themselves up against it at half-time, as they were trailing 10-26. However, second half tries from Caro, Macani (2) & Wilkinson saw Skolars hold on for the victory and propel themselves to 5th in the Betfred League 1 table.

Mention must go to  all the teams who took part in the London Series. The South London Silverbacks competed in a Masters fixture, the Brixton Bulls entertained the London Chargers, the Skolars’ U13 side faced played Hemel U13s and the Skolars’ Reserves completed another victory against the Newham Dockers.
