Toronto Wolfpack are returning to the UK Capital for a double header on Saturday April 6th at New River Stadium, London, UK.
The London Skolars play host to Workington Town before the Wolfpack host Sheffield Eagles in clash that will see the top of the Betfred Championship table begin to take shape.
To help welcome travelling fans to London, we have put together a Fans’ Guide.
Where will the matches be played?
The double header will be played at New River Stadium, situated in Wood Green in the Borough of Haringey.
The main stand seats 1,000 people and has terraced standing areas for those who prefer to socialise while enjoying the atmosphere. In total, the stadium capacity is 2,500.
How do you get there?
Easy! Head to Wood Green Tube station (on the dark blue Piccadilly line) and the stadium is only a 10-minute stroll from the station.
Of course, you could always hop in an Uber or other ride sharing app from wherever you are staying if you prefer to have the navigation done for you.

Parking
On street parking is available on White Hart Lane and the surrounding roads. Alternatively, there is a pay and display car park available next to the Stadium (70p per hour).
Ok, so where can you stay?
There are many fine hotels, B&B’s or Air BnBs situated locally or across central London that would fit any bill perfectly.

It is a funky, relaxed venue with a great bar with a shopping mall, cinema, coffee shops, pubs and well-known food chains close by.
Alternatively, the likes of Trivago, Airbnb and booking.com offer excellent deals for the budget conscious as well as those who wish to splash out and enjoy London in style.
What about food and drink?
There will be an NFL style ‘tailgate’ party next to the Skolars Clubhouse, where New River Brewery will be on hand serving a variety of beers. In addition, there will be some fabulous street food stalls at the game offering great value and high-quality food. The Poutinerie will be the star of the show, serving up French-Canadian culinary delights that are not to be missed.
The Skolars Clubhouse will be open from 10:30am until late and will have drinks deals including a happy hour and snack options to keep you fed and watered.
Fans can purchase hospitality tickets for only £40, with tickets including a pitch side view of all the action and excellent food including a hog roast and side dishes. Hospitality guests will also have access to their own cash bar.
What time does the fun start?
On game day, the Clubhouse and party area will be open from 10.30 – 23:00.
Yes, but how much is a pint, this is London after all?
Our New River Brewery (see www.newriverbrewery.co.uk) beers are available for £4 a pint.
How much are tickets?
You only pay one price to watch both games! If you book in advance on Eventbrite, you have an opportunity to benefit from our ‘Early Bird’ discount. On the day, our ticket prices are also affordable; at only £20 for adults and £15 for concessions (Seniors & children aged 13-17). We offer one of the best value experiences in the Capital.

What can we do afterwards?
Stay with us in the clubhouse to celebrate what is sure to have been a marvelous day of Rugby. With happy hour post-game, sport on the big screens and live entertainment from Andreas Liberos (an up and coming guitarist and solo artist) there’s every reason to socialise with fellow fans and players before venturing out into the Capital or making your way back to your hotel.

The Maple Leaf (Covent Garden): A Canadian-themed traditional pub that has been supporting the Wolfpack since the beginning of their journey. In recognition of the partnership fans can show their ticket on game day for a free pint of Maple Leaf Beer (redeemed before 8pm). The Maple Leaf serves a number of North American beers and stream your favourites sports, including NFL and NHL matches.
Clos Maggiore: This restaurant is situated in Covent Garden and serves mind-blowing food. But make sure you book – it was voted the World’s Most Romantic Restaurant after all!
The Mondrian (South Bank): Outstanding brunches at a fabulous Thames-side location.
The Founders Arms (Southbank – in front of the Tate Modern): Fabulous views of the incredible St Paul’s Cathedral and a great outdoor terrace overlooking the Thames.
Gordons Wine Bar (Embankment): World famous underground, cellar-style spot. Fabulous for people watching inside or out. A booking may be required.
Anchor and Hope (Southwark Tube): An old favourite with outstanding food and a great bar.
Waxy O’Connors (Leicester Square): A huge pub with even bigger screens. Never quiet, always great banter, and a fantastic atmosphere.
Lowlander Grand Café (Covent Garden): Head along and thank us later.
Princess Louise (Holborn) and City of York (Chancery Lane): Fabulous art deco Samuel Smiths pubs, serving brilliant beer at Yorkshire prices. £3 a pint in Central London is a secret worth knowing!

Yes, London is amazing, no matter if it is your first or 100th visit. There is something for everyone at a price that suits you and New River Stadium can guarantee a warm welcome, plenty of entertainment and a cracking double-header of Rugby League.
