North Wales Crusaders came out on top in the all League 1 Challenge Cup game at New River. Crusaders kept Skolars under pressure throughout and enjoyed the majority of possession. Skolars defended their line admirably and were still in the game at half-time (6-18). However, they were not able to complete a comeback, with North Wales showing enough strength to hold on and progress to the next round of the competition.
