London Skolars have re-signed Neil Thorman ahead of the 2019 Betfred League 1 season. The 35-year-old could make his first appearance of the new campaign at next week’s curtain-raising Capital Challenge at the Honourable Artillery Company.
Jermaine Coleman, London Skolars Head Coach, commented:
“Neil is a very experienced player at this level and I’m very thankful that he’s signed for us again. With his skill and quality he brings a great deal of experience and knowledge. We’re really excited to have him on board and we think with the team that we’re assembling this year he’s really going to flourish.”
Thorman originally signed for Skolars in 2010 but left the club to pursue an opportunity to play in Australia. He rejoined in 2018 and is delighted to have signed on once again. He said:
“I’m very happy with where Jermaine and the club are heading. We have strengthened both on and off the field and am really happy to have signed again this year. I’m looking forward to our annual Capital Challenge and hoping a world class club like Wigan will interest more people to come and support their local team.”
