Mike Greenhalgh has joined his twin brother, Judd, in re-signing for London Skolars ahead of the 2019 season. The second row has put pen to paper on a new contract which will keep him at New River Stadium for another year.
Jermaine Coleman, London Skolars Head Coach, commented:
“Mike had a disrupted season last year due to injuries and a slow start but when he is fully fit he’s a destructive player. We’re working hard this year on improving the qualities he has and developing the areas of improvement. With a big preseason I expect Mike to be a real leader in our forwards.”
An injury-hit 2018 meant Greenhalgh made just nine appearances for Skolars last season. Now back to full fitness, the 24-year-old is excited about what the new campaign will bring. He said:
“I’m really looking forward to this season. With a few new faces in the squad I think we can do really well. Having discussed the direction of the club I was more than happy to re-sign.”
