Will Martin has re-signed with London Skolars ahead of the 2019 season. The forward, who has been with the team for many years, will join up with his teammates for preseason training on Tuesday as preparations begin for the new Betfred League 1 campaign.

Jermaine Coleman, London Skolars Head Coach, commented:

“Will is a full-blooded player who is fully committed. He is exactly what you want in you squad, just a no nonsense forward who doesn’t take a backwards step. We’re really happy that he’s signed on again. He became a leader in the pack last year before we lost him to his injury and I’m excited to see him fully fit.”

Martin made 16 appearances for the Skolars last season as the club finished 12th in the League 1 table. Having signed his new deal, the 24-year-old is looking forward to getting back to work ahead of the 2019 campaign. He said:

“I’m really pleased to have signed for another season at Skolars and can’t wait to get stuck in to preseason with the boys. We’ve made some really good signings already so it’s going to be an exciting year and hopefully we can finish towards the top end of the table this season.”
