Sports Business Administrator/Management Trainee

London Skolars  are a professional rugby league club based in North London. The club play in League  1 and are based at New River Stadium in Wood Green, Haringey.

As part of their expansion, the club are seeking a sports business administrator/management trainee to join their office based team. With a focus on administration alongside training for a marketing and digital role, the successful applicant will also support the first team coach and community department with administration and promotional activities.

The candidate will ideally possess a minimum of BTEC level 1/2 or an NVQ level 1 or 2 qualification in business administration, marketing or similar transferable subjects. Equally you may be due to complete A levels in relevant content or looking for a University sandwich placement.

You will be highly literate and numerate alongside a naturally outgoing and success oriented personality with a real passion to progress in sport and learn along with way. The position and industry demands a ‘can-do’ attitude along with a determination to succeed. There will naturally be some weekend duties during the rugby league season.

Starting salary will be in the region of £15,000 and the position will offer attainable opportunities for progression and development within the company.

Candidates awaiting the results of recent examinations may also be considered.
