London Skolars lost their League 1 home opener against a flying Newcastle Thunder side 60-16 at New River Stadium in Haringey.

In a fiery contest which saw Lameck Juma and Omari Caro sin binned for the home side, the men from the North East punished the Skolars indiscipline in a dominant performance.

Workington Town are next up at New River at 3pm on Saturday 24th March.
