Following on from the capture of Omari Caro, London Skolars have today announced the signing of former Bradford Bulls player, Vinny Finnigan.
The 28 year old wing or centre brings a wealth of experience and blistering pace to a strong Skolars backline.
Commenting on the signing, London Skolars General Manager, Simon Fox, said:
“Vinny is a particularly good acquisition for us and he will bring a really strong mentality to North London as well as the explosive pace that he is renowned for. It is a long, tough season in League 1 and the addition of a former Super League player will ensure we are well placed in delivering a strong season.”
Finnigan was a product of the renowned Bradford Bulls Academy system, making his Super League debut against Salford in 2010 followed by spells at Sheffield Eagles, Hunslet, Batley and Keighley Cougars where he scored 9 tries in 13 games for the men from West Yorkshire.
The Yorkshireman is available to make his debut against former club Bradford Bulls at the Provident Stadium, 3pm on Sunday.
