The Rugby Football League have today announced the League 1 fixtures for the 2018 season.
The Skolars face a stern test with an opening visit to North Wales Crusaders followed by a trip former Super League giants, Bradford Bulls, at Odsal a week later.
New River will play host to Newcastle Thunder in the seasons home opener on Saturday March 10th, kick off, 3pm.
The hugely successful Friday Night Lights concept returns on the eve of the Challenge Cup Final as the men from Haringey welcome the Keighley Cougars.
Skolars General Manager, Simon Fox, said:
“League 1 is shaping up to be the most competitive season in the history of the competition. There are some big names we will have the pleasure of welcoming to North London and New River Stadium including the likes of the Bradford Bulls and North Wales Crusaders.”We also have a real litmus test leading up to that as we host the current World Champions, Wigan Warriors at the Honourable Artillery Company in the City of London for the Capital Challenge match on January 19th.
“We’re looking forward to 2018; it will be a great marker for our progress as a team and brand. We’d encourage all fans of rugby league who’d like to feel the warmth of our North London hospitality, to make a visit to New River next year and enjoy a great family day out.”
Season tickets for 2018 are available from only £5 for juniors and £110 for adults via our partners Eventbrite @ http://bit.ly/2jqWIZX
