London Skolars will be the first side in the professional game to take on newly formed expansion side the Toronto Wolfpack, as the two sides kick off round 1 of the 2017 season.

The following week will see the Skolars travel away to Newcastle Thunder, which is sure to be a stern test, as the Skolars narrowly edged the side from the North East to secure a place in the 2016 top 8’s.

Several games against southern clubs follow, we welcome Coventry Bears to New River stadium, before travelling to Gloucester and then finally in round 5 on Good Friday we take on Hemel Stags for the first time since their relocation to Dewsbury.

Our longest away journey takes place in July, round 13, as the side make the 325 mile trip to Workington RLFC.

We finish the regular season with two home games, taking on Hunslet in round 14 before finishing up against South Wales Ironmen.

The 2017 season is shaping up to be the most competitive to date, with a host of traditional northern powerhouses accompanied by the fully professional Toronto Wolfpack. Southern clubs such as South Wales and Hemel have re-branded and will be looking to build upon this.

In total the club have 8 home fixtures and 6 away minimum in the regular season, with more to come when the league splits into the 8’s. York are yet to have their place confirmed by the league, even if they are to drop out of the competition the RFL are in talks to replace them, which will be an additional fixture.

Season tickets are now on sale, an earlybird season ticket will cost just £90, Skolars also have great rates for concession’s and season ticket holders.
