Inspirational captain Dave Williams has today re-signed with the London Skolars for the 2017 season.
Dave is a glowing testament to the player pathway here in London. Having started out at his local club Greenwich Admirals he was soon picked up by the London Bronco’s where he played at every age group before making his first team debut for then Harlequins RL in 2008. He racked up 18 appearances in total, whilst making appearances for London Skolars as part of the dual registration partnership over that time.
He re-signs for the club on the back of a very strong 2016 appearing in almost all of the games despite picking up a knee injury mid-way through the season that would have side-lined most players. During this year he also racked up his 100th appearance for the club over his several spells. His tireless work rate and bone rattling defence earnt him the ultimate respect of his peers, as they voted him their 2016 player of the year.
