London Skolars were handed one of their more resounding defeats this weekend by unbeaten table toppers Toulouse Olympique, the final score ending up 52-12. However, this is not to say that the Skolars did not have opportunities to get themselves back in the game, with a couple of opportunities squandered, one in particular being at 12-24 with Sam Druce breaking and failing to hit his man who would have had a clear trot to the line.

Events on the pitch were actually overshadowed by positive ones off of it, players, fans and families (who had been attending our successful mini’s festival that morning) were treated to the much anticipated opening of the club bar.
