London Skolars earlier today announced a new sponsorship with Cineworld Wood Green.
Cineworld joins other local Wood Green company, Chiquen, as the man of the match sponsors for the club and London Skolars General Manager, Simona Vavega, welcomed the new deal.
“We’re delighted to team up with Cineworld through this new sponsorship. It’s a great opportunity for us to showcase the wonderful experiences available in our local Wood Green area and I look forward to working together with Chris Woodhead and his team to promote rugby league here in London as well as all the latest Hollywood blockbuster movies that come to town,’’ he says.
“Cineworld group is the second largest cinema operator in Europe with over 2000 screens in 9 countries, including 800 here in the United Kingdom. We’re extremely pleased to partner with another national and international company of this calibre and it bodes well for the club,’’ he says.
Cineworld General Manager, Chris Woodhead, says he’s excited about the new partnership, “’I’m extremely happy to be working alongside London Skolars to boost both our profiles in the local community. I see this as being the start of a strong working relationship and I’m looking forward to seeing success on and off the field for the Skolars,’ he says.
Cineworld plc is a FTSE 250 company, listed on the London stock Exchange and posted revenue of £619.4 million in 2014.
