The much anticipated annual London Skolars’ Capital Challenge event is set to generate record revenues this year.

On the 22nd January, the Skolars will host a Wigan Warriors XIII at the prestigious Honourable Artillery Company (HAC) Grounds in the heart of the City of London.

With the match just two weeks away London Skolars CEO, Hector McNeil says the event is on target to be the biggest in the club’s history: “The inaugural Capital Challenge was held in 2004 and since then we’ve put on 12 great events, going from strength to strength each year. This will be the third year that Wigan have been involved and we’ve seen the event grow in popularity with record sales of tickets and lunch places this year.” Said McNeil.

“We’re particularly proud that the event boasts a sponsor list that includes global organisations such as Nasdaq, Wisdom Tree Europe, Cantor Fitzgerald, Capita and the Irish Stock Exchange. They are regular supporters of this event and have helped the event grow year on year. In addition Pcubed are, once again, sponsoring the schools challenge held at the HAC prior to the Wigan game and we are very grateful to them for their continuing support of the club and the sport.”

Returning Wigan hero and English International Sam Tomkins will be guest speaker at the pre-match luncheon.
