The London Skolars would like to extend their condolences to Chris Leatherbarrow’s family following his tragic passing. Chris has refereed a number of games at New River and was one of the great referees in the Kingstone Press League 1 Competition.

Skolars Director of Rugby, Mark Croston said ‘Chris was a top bloke and one of the best referees to adjudicate games in the League, the club extends our thoughts to his partner Nicola, daughter Daisy and family during this difficult time.’

Tributes have flowed in for Leatherbarrow, whose officiating saw him awarded the Championship Referee of the Year award in 2013.
