Three Skolars youngsters who shined brightest in 2015 have all put pen to paper and signed contacts again for the 2016 season. Anthony Cox, Sam Druce and Kazeem Faturoti-Edwards re-signed with the club over the last week as they look to cement their spots in the starting squad.
Kazeem Faturoti-Edwards has made huge strides this year securing a starting shirt at second-row. His enthusiasm, strong work ethic and ability to break the lines at speed resulted in him making 16 appearances in 2015. Kazeem is arguably the most improved player in the squad and has made a big impact in the Skolars improved form in the back half of the year.
Druce has been in and out of the team at hooker due to injuries and strong competition for spots but when called upon has been extremely solid. With a strong passing game and enthusiasm in defence he is a great addition to any squad.
Finally Cox, the big front row has been a rock coming off the bench when called upon. Known for his hard hitting. Making 13 appearances this season the youngster is sure to grow into a great prop as he learns and develops with the help of our coaching staff.
