South Wales are the next side to make the trip to White Hart Lane as they take on the London Skolars this Sunday at 3pm.
Both sides enter into this fixture with similar feelings, hungry for a win after a run of loses that have been frustrating, for the most part because they have had large positive spells in these defeats, which they’ve failed to capitalise on or maintain. South Wales have been notoriously fast starters the last couple of weeks, with notable performances coming against local rivals North Wales and midlands side Coventry Bears in which they scored several tries to take early leads. With the success they have had against Skolars in recent seasons, they will be targeting this game as another scalp.
Skolars enter into this game on the back of arguably their strongest performance of the season, in which they were narrowly defeated by promotion competitors Newcastle Thunder. However the issue for Jermaine Coleman’s men during his tenure has been consistency, backing these performances against the top sides up when playing sides lower in the table the following week. That is something the side know is a negative aspect on how they are perceived and will be looking to rectify this. The side welcomes back Michael Bishay and Louis Robinson (pictured) for the game after being rested with ongoing injuries the previous week.
The club would like to welcome back all the London fans who have had to make the hard decision about where to attend in light of the recent fixture clashes this weekend and hope they can cheer the side on to victory.
Tickets are available on the gate for £12 adult & £6 concessions
