Jordan Howden\’s brace of tries helped York City Knights to a 40-10 Kingstone Press League 1 victory over London Skolars.

Nev Morrison, Howden (2) and Ryan Mallinder crossed for the Knights and Ben Dent kicked three goals to put York 22-0 ahead before the Skolars hit back with a try from James Anthony which Marcus Elliot converted.

York got another try just before the half-time hooter and Greg Minikin, Josh Tonks and Liam Cunnigham went over with Dent adding another goal as the hosts continued their domination in the second period.

Joe Price then went over for the Skolars\’ second try but it was merely a consolation.
