The official launch of London Skolars Mini’s and Juniors season will take place on Saturday 7th February from 10am at London Skolars temporary offices in the White Hart Lane Learning Centre, just across the road from New River Stadium and next to Woodside School.
The launch will provide a chance to new and existing players to sign their registration forms, pay their subscriptions and then head out onto the brand new pitch at New River for the first session of the 2015 season with their new coaches.
The London Junior League season will kick off on March 7th with the ever competitive 9’s tournaments across the capital. There are some high hopes for all our Junior teams in 2015 and this weekend’s session will give coaches the first chance to cast an eye over their charges for the year.
Age group Head Coaches for 2015 are:
Minis – Dave Roberts and Huw Bevan
U13’s – Paul Quill
U15’s – Ian Ackley
U17’s – Matt Cuss
All these coaches will be supported by a network of assistants which will ensure each age group is well resourced as the season progresses.
Community Development Manager Matt Cuss spoke of the upcoming launch “this weekend will be the official launch of our Junior and Mini’s 2015 season, and will give everyone a chance to catch up with each other again, meet new players and their new look coaching teams for the year. It will be fantastic to see the results of our schools programmes and our talent ID session at this years PCubed Challenge in hopefully getting our largest turn-out ever in what is our 20th Anniversary year.”
Registration will begin from 10am with the pitches then available from 10.30am for training sessions. Players and parents are asked to arrively promptly for registrations so that coaches can maximise training time.
