London Skolars coach Joe Mbu has set his sights on a play-off place after Sunday’s morale-boosting 52-28 victory at Oxford.
The Skolars are currently five points adrift of the Kingstone Press Championship One top five, but Mbu said: “If we stick together and keep working hard like we did against Oxford, then anything is possible.
“It was a much-needed win, and now I just want us to keep the momentum going. We stuck to the game-plan throughout the 80 minutes and that’s what got us the points.
“Everyone in this division is looking for a top five finish. We had a taste of the play-offs last year, so we’ve got a bit of experience and the lads are hungry for that experience again.”
