London Skolars’ prop Tely Pelo will have to sit out this weekend’s Kingstone Press Championship 1 fixture at Oxford having picked up a one match suspension from the RFL follow his part in an incident in the game at Oldham.

Pelo was one of six players sin-binned in the game and was charged with a grade B striking offence which would normally carry a ban of 1-2 games plus a possible fine. Given his previous good disciplinary record he was eligible to make an early guilty plea and receive a one match ban.
