Wigan youngster Gavin Rodden, nephew of Skolars’ director Mark Croston, has been selected to captain BARLA Young Lions on their tour to Malta next month.

A former match day mascot at London Skolars, Gavin, 6′ 2″ and 90kg, was a member of the  Wigan Warrior scholarship programme and is equally at home as hooker and second-row.
