With the weather looking good for the weekend Skolars’ fans can take in a number fixtures with Sunday seeing a ‘double header’ in Enfield.
The Skolars’ first team entertain the University of Gloucestershire All Golds at the Queen Elizabeth II Stadium, Donkey Lane, Enfield, EN1 3PL the home of Enfield Town FC in the first of six Kingstone Press Championship ‘on the road’ fixtures.
Following last week’s bonus point defeat at Gateshead it’s a big game for the Skolars against an All Golds side who will no doubt be looking to impress new coach Steve McCormack but three points for the home side will put them back in contention for the end of season play-offs.
Admission prices are £12 adults and £6 concessions with food and drink available including a beer tent whilst the Magic Weekend fixtures will be shown in the bar throughout for fans who want to make a day of it.
Prior to this game at Enfield Ignations RFC, adjacent to Enfield Town, the Skolars and All Golds U19s side will be in action in their first game in a competition that will also see them take on Hemel, Coventry, Oxford and South Wales during the season. This games kicks off at 12.30pm.
On Saturday our minis are in action at Perth Road as they compete in a mini- festival with Medway Dragons and St Albans Centurions, the action getting underway at 11am. Our U13s travel to Medway Dragons with U15s at North Herts Crusaders. The U17s and ‘A’ team have no fixtures.
