London Skolars will, once again, be hosting former England captain Jamie Peacock’s All-Star Activity Camp in August 2014.
Skolars were delighted to host a two day summer camp here at New River last year for Jamie Peacock and the camp was a resounding success with over 60 kids attending. The highlight for those attending was when Jamie and Leeds Rhinos teamate Ryan Hall ran a session, after which they signed autographs, posed for photos and handed out goodies to the kids taking part. Jamie will againn be bringing his considerable experience to North London allowing youngsters across London and the South East to receive coaching from the Leeds Rhinos superstar.
Jamie Peacock MBE is considered to be one of the best players of his generation having won every honour in the domestic competition. A player of undoubted talent, who through his determination and commitment both on and off the pitch has been able to earn respect from not only his team mates but his opponents on both sides of the hemisphere and has twice been named as the best forward in the world. Amongst Jamie’s many accolades, he has won the Super League Grand Final 8 times most recently in 2012 and was awarded an MBE for services to Rugby League in the 2012 New Year’s honours.
The two-day camp takes place at the Skolars’ very own New River Stadium on Monday 4th August and Tuesday 5th August and costs only £33 for both days. The camp is for children aged between 5 and 13. To book on to the camp just click here.
