Tetley’s Challenge Cup Draw – Skolars get bye into 4th round

The draw for the third round of the 2014 Tetley’s Challenge Cup took place at the University of Gloucestershire’s Park Campus in Cheltenham this evening when the 23 Kingstone Press Championships clubs entered the competition for the first time. Earlier in the evening London Skolars learned that they, and Featherstone Rovers, had been given a bye into the fourth round

The Championships clubs joined the 11 winners from the second round ties in draw conducted by Maxine Melling, the Pro Vice Chancellor at the University of Gloucestershire, and Kevan Blackadder, the Editor of the Gloucestershire Echo.
The draw in full was as follows:

Milford Marlins v Barrow Raiders
Rochdale Hornets v University of Gloucestershire All Golds
Keighley Cougars v Wath Brow Hornets
Dewsbury Rams v West Hull
Sheffield Eagles v East Leeds
British Army v Doncaster
Hull Dockers v Halifax
Batley Bulldogs v Kells
South Wales Scorpions v Hemel Stags
Normanton Knights v Workington Town
York City Knights v Whitehaven
Swinton Lions v Gateshead Thunder
Egremont Rangers v Oldham
Hunslet Hawks v Oxford
North Wales Crusaders v Pilkington Recs
Wigan St Patrick’s v Leigh Centurions

The third round ties will be played over the weekend of March 15 and 16.
