Before Friday Night Lights the trophy will be on display in Trafalgar Square on Friday from 10.00am – 4.00pm as part of RLWC2013 Road Show, which forms part of a jam-packed day of Rugby League activity. Commenting on the trophy’s attendance at Friday Night Lights Mark Foster, Marketing Manager for RLWC2013, had this to say: “We have a great line up of activity in Trafalgar Square on Friday as we promote the World Cup and Rugby League in general in the Capital. Taking the trophy on to New River for Friday Night Lights will ensure the maximum number of rugby league fans in London for the Challenge Cup Final will get the opportunity to see this iconic trophy. The build up to the World Cup is growing and we want as many fans as possible from the capital to get to games, especially the ‘Big Hit’ semi-final day at Wembley on the 23rd November. We are delighted to be supporting such a prestigious event as Friday Night Lights, which is a regular fixture in the Rugby League Calendar.”
