After a closely contested Northern Rail group match last week London Skolars and Hemel Stags go head to head again at New River on Good Friday, the 29th March. This time the two southern rivals will be playing for league points as the match signals the first round of Kingstone Press Championship 1 fixtures.
Skolars emerged 26-4 victors in the first match and have since gone on to record a third straight victory in the Northern Rail Cup. Hemel opened their NRC campaign with a win against University of Gloucestershire All Golds and narrowly lost at home to South Wales Scorpions at the weekend, going down by 20-22. It promises to be a closely fought encounter as both teams look to get off to a winning start in the league.
The fans helped create a great atmosphere at the Northern Rail Cup tie between the teams so we want as many rugby league fans as possible at New River on Good Friday. Until the 25th March you can get your ticket for the macth at 1/2 price. That’s £6 for an adult ticket and £3 for a concession ticket.
