London Skolars are delighted to announce that prior to their next home league fixture, against Workington on Sunday the 10th June, there we will be a curtain raiser match at New River between DAISNAID and Milton Keynes Wolves.
DAISNAID (Acronym for ‘Do As I Say, Not As I Do’) is a Rugby League team formed of coaches, professionals and the wider London Rugby League family. This invitation only team play occasional fixtures so Skolars are glad to have them grace the New River pitch with their silky skills as they look to overcome their opponents from Buckinghamshire, the Milton Keynes Wolves.
The recently formed Wolves team made their debut appearance in the Rugby League Conference’s Eastern Regional Division one recently, but suffered a 24-40 opening day defeat to Bedford Tigers at Emerson Valley.
It hasn’t gone unnoticed that MK Wolves RL boast none other than Super League star Sam Tomkins as their Honorary President and he has been pictured recently sporting a Wolves shirt!
The DAISNAID v MK Wolves fixture kicks off at 11.00am and is followed by Skolars Championship 1 fixture against Workington at 2pm. Skolars will be going all out to continue their unbeaten home league run this term.
Tickets are priced at £12 for adults and £6 for concessions.
