The London Skolars ‘A’ maintained their excellent start to the season defeating last year’s Rugby League Conference Regional Champions, Elmbridge Eagles 46-14. The youthful Eagles were competitive for long periods however, Skolars’ experience told in the end with them running in 8 tries in total though Smokie Junor, captain James Fletcher, Jaroslaw Obuchowski, Cameron Gall and Austen Aggrey, youngster Michael Cawthorn successfully kicking 7 out of 8 of his attempts.
Next week they travel to South London Storm for the second time in 2 weeks after drawing the Croydon based club in the first round of the Regional Cup. The tie takes place on Saturday 19th May, 2.30pm kick off at Archbishop Lanfranc School, Croydon.
