London Skolars’ work on and off the field has been recognised with an awards nomination. The club have been nominated for Haringey Club of the Year in the forthcoming Haringey Celebrating Sports Awards. It’s the fifth year that the awards have been held. This year the awards take place at the other end of White Hart Lane – at Tottenham Hotspur’s stadium on 24 November.
Last year’s presentations saw Aaron Small shortlisted for Junior Sports Performer of the Year. He missed out on that award, but picked up a Step into Sports Volunteer Award for his work in coaching junior rugby league.
