With a successful junior league season all but over, and the Skolars under 18s closing in on a Grand Final place, the Skolars Community team are looking forward to coaching in the schools in North London.  The Schools Rugby League season starts in September with the Year 7 Merit League looking to give the secondary schools’ new intake an early taste of inter-school Rugby League.  The Carnegie Champion Schools North London competitions start with the Year 7 competition on the 19th of October.  The Year 11 tournament takes place on the 2nd November followed weekly by the Year 8, Year 9, and Year 10 on 9th, 16th and23th of November respectively.

Community Rugby League Coach Graeme Spencer expressed how much he was looking forward to the new academic year, “Its great working with the schools in our local area.  Every single one of our juniors came from the talent ID we do through our schools coaching, and its great discovering new talent. Hopefully we will come across some gems that will be pulling on the Skolars jersey in the 2012 junior league season!”
