The regular season for the Skolars ‘A’ team drew to a conclusion with a win over West London Sharks before Saturday’s first team game against Swinton Lions. The win meant that the reserve outfit completed the double, with home and away wins over the Sharks, following Saturday’s 36-24 victory.

It concluded a somewhat disjointed season for the squad having begun 2011 in the London League before taking Hainault’s place in the RLC Premier South following the Essex club’s withdrawal. The Skolars finished one point away from the playoffs, despite inheriting Hainault’s 7 defeats and points deficit, after picking up victories against West London home and away, last years RLC champions, St Albans and drawing away to league runners up Eastern Rhinos.
