As part of the 2011 double header at the Stoop, Skolars juniors took on Wigan St Judes.  The game took place at Staines Titans Rugby Club, and was played at an under 14/15 age group.  The game was a great test for the Skolars players to see how they matched up to their northern counterparts.  The game got off to a tense start with both teams completing early sets and looking strong in defence.  It was evident from the start that the Wigan outfit had superior handling skills, as they looked to throw the ball around a lot with some great passing movements.  The more direct approach was taken by Skolars, who looked to utilise their size in the pack with the likes of Anthony Barry, Ugucan Gundogan, and Shemar Shirly proving to be a handfull.  The First half finished with St Judes 4 tries up, all scored from some excellent passing and off the ball running, which the Skolars found hard to deal with.

The second half started almost the same as the first, with both teams playing very hard and fast Rugby League.  Skolars only points came from Donovan Noble, who scored a brilliant try on the left flank.  The game finished 32 6 in favour of Wigan St Judes.  Both the players and coaches from Skolars would like to offer a massive thank you to the Wigan St Judes club for helping get this game on, and hope they enjoed their experience of London Rugby League!
