The London Skolars Junior Section are taking part in this year’s Community Game Raffle to raise funds to go towards their end of season presentation and ensure a celebration worthy of their outstanding year so far.
The Community Game Raffle is promoted by the Rugby Football League and all affiliated clubs are entitled to sell tickets to raise much needed funds. The raffle which is running for the fourth year has proved to be hugely successful within the game having raised over £65,000 for community clubs and the Rugby League Foundation charity in previous years and the latest draw is set to be the biggest and best yet.
Heading the list of great prizes is the star prize of a seven night trip for two to the four star all inclusive Turtle Beach Resort in Barbados along with £500 spending money.
England Coach Steve McNamara launched the raffle and said: “I’m delighted to help promote this years raffle and am sure it will once again prove to be a great success for both the community clubs and the Rugby League Foundation.”
“The raffle continues to prove an easy way for clubs to make money and is also a vital fund raiser for the Rugby League Foundation.”
“Having seen some of the prizes on offer I would urge people to buy their tickets as soon as they get the chance.”
Tickets are only £1 each and the draw takes place on Saturday 8th October. To buy tickets please call the Skolars office on 020 8888 8488 or email info@skolarsrl.com.
